Electromechanical servo presses
MOTOR ATTACHMENT

MOTOR ATTACHMENT
ANGLED MOTOR [AM]

In order to integrate the electromechanical servo press into your machine concept in the best possible way, we distinguish between two different motor attachments.
The servo press can be adapted to the available installation space by installing the motor in extension of the axis (FM – flange mounting) or parallel to it (AM – angled motor).
In addition, the choice of engine mounting has an effect on technical performance data.

AM motor attachment = Angled Motor

The threaded spindle is driven by the servo motor via a belt drive.
The angled motor attachment is interesting for machine concepts that only allow a low overall height.
Special modules with customised stroke lengths are also frequently used in this design in order to further minimise the size.
Likewise, a belt drive allows for customised power or speed requirements by changing the transmission ratio of the belt drive.

MOTOR ATTACHMENT
FLANGE MOUNTED [FM]

The motor is flanged directly to the threaded spindle.
This design is often used in assembly lines.
